Refrigeration Coil & Heat Exchanger FAQs
Technical and purchasing answers for OEM engineers, procurement teams, distributors and refrigeration contractors evaluating custom condensers, evaporators and heat exchangers.
Domi manufactures thermal components for refrigerator and freezer OEMs, commercial refrigeration equipment, HVAC and heat pump systems, and industrial cooling projects.
A condenser coil rejects heat from the refrigerant to the surrounding air or cooling medium. An evaporator coil absorbs heat from a refrigerated cabinet, room, air stream or process fluid.
Selection depends on capacity, refrigerant, operating temperatures, airflow, pressure drop, installation space, tube and fin materials, connection design and defrost conditions.
Yes. Domi supports drawing-based OEM production and replacement-coil review. The team can evaluate dimensions, tube routing, fin spacing, connection locations, mounting points, materials, refrigerant and operating conditions.
If no drawing is available, provide a sample or clear photos with dimensions and equipment information. Feasibility, tooling, samples and production terms are confirmed before manufacturing. Private-label and NDA-based projects can also be discussed.
Provide the equipment type, application, drawing or sample, required capacity, refrigerant, operating pressure, air temperatures, airflow, humidity, coil dimensions, tube and fin materials, fin spacing, connection sizes, coating requirement, quantity, packaging needs and destination country.
Incomplete projects can still be reviewed, but additional engineering questions may be required before pricing.
Domi supports project review for R134a, R410A, R32, R290, R744 (CO₂), R404A, R22 and ammonia (NH₃), depending on the application and coil structure.
Working pressure, tube material and wall thickness, joint method, cleanliness, testing and destination-market requirements must also be confirmed. See HVAC and heat pump solutions and industrial refrigeration solutions.
Material selection depends on heat-transfer performance, pressure, corrosion exposure, weight and cost. Project options may include copper or aluminum tubing, aluminum fins, steel wire structures and application-specific connection materials.
For humid kitchens, supermarket equipment and outdoor HVAC units, Domi can review hydrophilic fin treatment, epoxy or other protective coatings based on cleaning chemicals, salt exposure, humidity and service conditions.
Published guidance is 5–10 working days for available standard products, about 7–14 working days for a first custom sample after drawing approval, and approximately 3–5 weeks for custom production orders.
Standard-product MOQ is commonly 50 units. Prototype quantities and custom-project MOQ are reviewed individually. Actual timing depends on design, materials, tooling, testing, volume and production schedule; confirm it in the written quotation.
